The first time when we have plan to travel oversea,
Myanmar is first our first choice. Because this country is still pristine and
especially there are many pagodas. We decided to travel there in July, as
weather forecast, July is not good time to visit Myanmar because it is rainy
season but we were lucky during our trip. Yangon in our mind is beautiful
country big Pagoda Shwedagon (The main gold-plated dome is topped by a stupa
containing over 7,000 diamonds, rubies, topaz and sapphires, the whole giddy
concoction offset by a massive emerald positioned to reflect the last rays of
the setting sun.
There is little wonder that the Shwedagon is referred to
in Myanmar as "The crown of Burma)
You can chose shuttle bus to connect each place, but
flights are good choice because it can save time.
Bagan City is most highlighted destination during our
trip, we rent bicycle to visit around old and new Bagan, with many pagodas and
special architecture, local people are very friendly, we can park outside each
pagoda and it is save. or you can take horse cart around city and see sunset
from the top of Pagoda.
